It's that time again! The temperatures are getting colder, the leaves are falling from the trees and it's time for the time change again. For those who can't remember whether the clocks are set forward or backward, this mnemonic may be a little help:
"Time change works like the thermometer" - plus in spring and minus in winter.
This means that the clocks are reset from 3 o'clock to 2 o'clock on Sunday night.
With our clocks and weather stations with the DCF radio signal this happens automatically and you do not have to do anything else.
If it did not work out after all, these tips and tricks will help:
1. Wait 24 hours - Did you know that the DCF-77 time signal is continuously transmitted from Mainflingen near Frankfurt? However, in order to increase the life of the batteries, the clock is only synchronised against 0 o'clock. Therefore, it may happen that the time changeover is not carried out until the following night, as the clocks are not changed until around 3 o'clock.
2. remove batteries - If nothing has happened after 24 hours, the time signal was probably not received. Please remove all the batteries once for 10 minutes and put them back in again. Now the clock will register the time again.
3. contact service - If the problem still exists, please contact our Service.
