BRESSER LED lamps have a large and equal light output over the whole range. This is the result of the use of high quality semiconducting materials.
Many suppliers base their specifications on the assumption that 1 watt power consumption of an LED lamp can be compared to 5 watts of a neon tube and with 25 watts of a halogen lamp. You certainly understand that this is very relative and it also depends on the quality and type of LED technology. Also, the distribution of light from a halogen lamp is different from the one of a LED lamp and subsequent measurements often show that these estimated values were mostly too high. We are therefore somewhat cautious, so that you are not disappointed afterwards. For the BRESSER LED lamps 1 W is approximately equal to 16 W of a halogen lamp. 25 watts of LED light are therefore comparable to a 400 watt halogen lamp. (measured at a distance of 1 meter).
The BRESSER LED lamps are very good to use for portrait and product photography. The colour temperature of 5600 K can be compared with the daylight. With the included artificial light conversion filter of 3200 K, which can be exchanged quickly due to magnets, these panel studio lamps can also be used for film and video recordings.
With the soft/diffusion filter an illumination with floodlight effect is even possible from a close distance. A major advantage of LED bulbs is that they don't get warm and thus can be used without any risk for a long time. The average lifespan of an LED lamp is 50,000 burning hours. The light intensity is infinitely variable and the lamp can be operated via the network cable and an optional Lithium NP-F750 battery. Fully charged the battery operating time is approximately two hours. With the included ball joint the LED lamp can be put onto a lightstand and be directed in any desired position.
Working with optional batteries (not included)When working with batteries, 4 LEDs on the back show the state of charge of the battery. Thanks to a special electronic circuit the lamps emit the full light intensity even when the batteries are almost empty. The warranty on batteries is 3 months.
