Our Christmas Donation 2022

The year 2022 is drawing to a close and the past crisis-ridden months have shown impressively: Cohesion in society and across all forms of borders is more important than ever. Closely connected to this are solidarity with and offers of help for people in need. We as a company also want to fulfil our social responsibility. This year, we will not send Christmas cards to our partners and customers, but instead donate a total of 10,000 euros to a good cause. To do this, we asked our employees which charities were particularly close to their hearts. From the numerous suggestions, four organisations were selected that, with their valuable work, steer the lives of many disadvantaged or seriously ill people in a positive direction. In addition, we would like to express our heartfelt THANK YOU to all those who work on a full-time or voluntary basis to help those in need.

The following charities will each receive a donation of 2,500 euros from us:

  • Child Care Afrika e. V
Helping children in Togo to help themselves by improving their educational opportunities - that is the declared aim of this organisation. Now that a primary school and an orphanage have been completed, the next big project is the construction of a secondary school.
  • Frauenselbsthilfe Krebs – Bundesverband e. V.
Under the motto "From those affected for those affected", the non-profit association has been supporting women with cancer and their relatives for over 40 years. The extensive services offered help to support those affected after diagnosis, to inform them about help in coping with the disease and to accompany them in a life with or after cancer.
  • Malteser Hilfsdienst e. V., Ortsverein Bocholt
Poverty, illness, war and catastrophes - the international relief organisation is committed to helping people in the most diverse emergencies all over the world. In keeping with their motto "... because closeness counts", we would like to support the local association in our neighbouring town of Bocholt in their important work.
  • Scheytt-Stiftung
The foundation supports abandoned children and young people in Romania with practical, long-term help and counselling. This is to enable them to lead a self-determined life later on as adults. At present, the foundation offers a home to twenty children and also organises the regular school attendance of many Roma children.

We wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season!
