Take part now:
Photo competition with Naturcyl and the Jane Goodall Institute

The fourth edition of the NATURCYL Fair will take place from 24 to 26 September 2021 in the Montaña Palentina Natural Park, more precisely in Cervera de Pisuerga, a small town in Castilla y León, in the north of Spain. As in previous events, the fair will offer a wide range of opportunities to discover unique places and products to enjoy nature, from delicious organic food to the best binoculars on the market.

This year, Naturcyl is working with the "Instituto Jane Goodall España". The IJGE is part of the Jane Goodall Institute Global, a non-profit organisation founded by Dr Goodall, whose aim is: "to understand and protect chimpanzees as well as other great apes and their habitats, and to inspire and empower people to make the world a better place for animals and people, in a healthy environment".

In this context, the nature and ecotourism photo competition "Naturcyl - Instituto Jane Goodall" was developed. Naturcyl believes that photography has been and still is a fundamental tool in the work to make known the ecological values of the planet and to create more environmental awareness among people. For this reason, Naturcyl is organising the IV Nature and Ecotourism Photography Competition, which is aimed at both amateurs and professionals from all over the world. You do not have to be a visitor to the fair to take part.

The competition honours the outstanding technical, artistic and ecological quality of the submitted photos, which are divided into different thematic categories:

1. Ecotourism and rural spaces
2. Experiencing landscape with two options: A - Iberian landscape or B - Landscape from Castilla y León

3. Iberian animal wildlife
4. Iberian Flora
5. Astronomy
6. Protected natural spaces of the world

We at BRESSER are proud to support this photo competition with great photography and observation equipment for the winners in all categories.

The Jane Goodall Institute

Dr Jane Goodall is a behavioural scientist from the UK, who began researching the behaviour of chimpanzees for 25 years in Tanzania in 1960. Already after the first 6 months in the life of wild chimpanzees, she discovered that not only humans are able to not only use tools, but also to make them. Chimpanzees can do this too.

After 25 years, she turned her back on wild chimpanzees and became an activist for the future of humans, animals and the environment. She founded the Jane Goodall Institute in 1977 and significantly changed our view of chimpanzees and the relationship between humans and animals.
