This 8" Coil cover fits all Bounty Hunter 8" search coils (8COVERG), and easily snaps onto the bottom of the search coil for added protection against cuts, slits, and excessive wear. In addition to absorbing shocks and moist grass static, this coil cover will, keep the coil clean and scratch free. There is no need to remove the coil cover as it does not reduce detection depth.
