This is the heavier quality version! This beauty dish of 70 cm has a mat silver inside wall. Thanks to the parable effect of the dish, the bundle of light is sent to a focal point. The effect of a beauty dish lies between the lighting of a softbox and the direct lighting.
It provides the object with a more high-contrast and thereby a more accentuated effect. The inner diffuser in front of the modelling lamp and the flashtube can be removed for a stronger direct effect. You can place a honeycomb/ grid in front of that for a more bundled light effect. Highly recommended for the portrait photography.
The beauty dish comes with a diffuser for a softer illumination. Thanks to its rubber band it can easily be put onto the beauty dish.
