BRESSER exclusively takes over the European distribution rights of the VIXEN brand

From January 2020 BRESSER exclusively takes over the European distribution rights of the VIXEN brand. The company, which has been based in Japan since 1949, is well known in the astronomy industry as well as for its riflescopes and binoculars for hunters.
 
The high-quality mounts and optics of VIXEN successfully round up our program for experienced amateur astronomers. The brands BRESSER MESSIER, EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC and LUNT are joined by another important pillar for this product category.

The riflescopes and binoculars are sold together with BRESSER.
 
The products are still distributed by the subsidiary Vixen Europe GmbH, based in Hilden, Germany. At the beginning of January, the warehouse will move to Rhede. The dispatch can take place starting from 08.01.2020.
 
All employees of Vixen Europe, Messrs. Ralf Schäfer, Patrick Schäfer, Michael Schlünder and Helge Gottschalk will join the BRESSER Team. They will all work for us from Hilden, across all brands.
 
For the first time, VIXEN Sport Optics will be presented together with BRESSER and PULSAR at the Jagd & Hund in Dortmund from 28. January to 2. February 2020 (Hall 6 booth G24) and at the IWA in Nuremberg from 6. to 9. March 2020 (Hall 4A booth 502).

VIXEN, BRESSER MESSIER, EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC and LUNT will appear together at the Astro trade fairs in the future.
 
Where does the name VIXEN come from? The story fits the Christmas season.
 
On Christmas Eve every year, a group of reindeer carry the sled on which Santa Claus rides with lots of gifts. According to a collection of poems written by Clement Clarke Moore, all of the reindeer have names, one of which is “Vixen.” The company, Vixen Co., Ltd., is named after the reindeer, the messenger of happiness.
