Nuremberg International Toy Fair

Intellectually Curious with BRESSER and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC

For the seventh time in a row BRESSER GmbH exhibited on the Nuremberg International Toy Fair. In hall 4 "Technical and Educational Toys" BRESSER exhibited technical advanced products of the licensed brand NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC.

Many visitors were very interested in the new, innovative experimental sets, that were designed by product manager Vera Harking in the last couple of months: How do I produce a rocket? How do I produce a microscopes using simple resources? How do I produce a vacuum cleaner only with a PET bottle? CEO Helmut Ebbert determined: "We will continuously extend our experimental set assortment. The Toy Fair has demonstrated that there is a great need for innovative building sets. There are several thing in the pipeline that will be presented in the next couple of months."

Optical instruments like telescopes, microscopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, night vision devices, and magnifiers have - of course - also been in the portfolio of BRESSER's exposition. Since 1957 BRESSER distributes these products worldwide, and on this Toy Fair many new contacts have been established. That's why Bresser is not only well-established across Europe, but also distributes products in Uruguay, Australia or Mongolia. Novelties in this area have been microscopes and observation, surveillance and game cameras as well as a mounting for microscopes that enables to microscope with a smartphone.

The cooperation between BRESSER and Herbalind GmbH (Rhede) made products with the quality seal "Made in Rhede" possible. Self-heating pads and plush toys, filled with cherry pits or rapeseed haven been introduced. These products - especially designed for children and produced from controlled biological cultivation - represent a novelty, because these kinds pf products have never been offered by toy stores before.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC plush toys include the different subject areas: "North America", "Australia", "Tropical Rain Forest", "Ocean", "Polar" and "Big Cats".

CEO Helmut Ebbert summed up a positive view of the future: "Thanks to NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC we were able to establish many important international contact. We expect an increasing export business in the next year - and with an accounting share of 70% this is already well developed.
